LEGO Education Simple Machines deepens understanding of simple machines such as gears, wheels and axles, levers and pulleys. Kids will have fun building the models, while learning about engineering from an early age. They will investigate concepts such as force, buoyancy and balance and learn to solve problems through design, working together and sharing ideas.
Our Builders workshop for children in the age group of 11 to 13 years is based on the LEGO ® Education WeDo® 2.0 Core Set. It is a world-class Lego playset that includes 280 bricks, as well as sensors and motors, offering endless possibilities for making abstract concepts concrete by using all the elements which they can manipulate with their hands. Using LEGO® bricks, easy-to-use software and engaging STEM projects, teachers have all they need to teach their students simple programming skills. The combination of physical LEGO® bricks, standards-aligned activities, and intuitive block-based coding environment means that interactive and creative learning is easier than ever to achieve - students can see their ideas taking shape, and test and refine their problem-solving skills! Designed with collaboration in mind, each core set supports two students, introducing them to science, computational thinking, and engineering principles in a fun and engaging way.

Our Mastermind workshop for the teens aged 16 to 17 years provides a very realistic and practical way for them to manipulate physical principals and to learn how to troubleshoot. They are implicitly practicing the same framework that the geniuses at Tesla use when building the autonomous car - analyzing, testing, and redesigning. They can leverage the advanced features and functionality of EV3 along with STEM, Robotics and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) lessons. This builds job-specific skills with a focus on Computer Science, Engineering and specific areas of CTE/vocational education such as Manufacturing, Information Technology and Pre-Engineering. The new EV3 Micro-Python programming language is an optimized version of Python for microcontrollers. They can experience real-world applications of Python, which is a top language to implement Machine Learning (ML). This serves as an excellent foundation to further explore ML and build a base for Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts.
